Law school helps medical colleagues
As our campuses continue to come together to support the COVID-19 response, School of Law colleagues are finding ways to help health-care workers at the School of Medicine. Initially, the law school received 200 masks from their academic partners in Shanghai, which they decided to donate. Inspired to do more, Juan Del Valle, LLM, director of international programs and lecturer in law, led an effort to obtain an additional 3,000 disposable face masks from a supplier in China. With the help of Nancy C. Staudt, JD, PhD, dean of the law school, Del Valle was able to personally deliver the much-needed masks to the Medical Campus.
