A quick reference guide for when, and when not, to report to work
When health-care personnel can and cannot work
If you are exposed: You may continue working provided you are continuously masked and have your symptoms actively monitored by Student and Occupational Health Services. This applies even if the exposure was to a household member.
If you are symptomatic: You may not work. Call the COVID-19 Exposure/Illness Hotline at 314-362-5056 or Student Health for testing guidance.
If you test positive: You will be asked to leave work and isolate for approximately 10 days from the date of your positive test or symptom onset. Lack of adherence will be considered a violation of professionalism and the university’s code of conduct and may be referred to relevant processes in Human Resources and/or student conduct as appropriate.
When non-clinical personnel can and cannot work
If you are exposed, symptomatic or test positive, you may not work. Call the COVID-19 Exposure/Illness Hotline at 314-362-5056 or Student Health for guidance.
