As WashU Med returns to more normal operations, Occupational Health has adjusted guidance for employees who test positive for COVID-19. Effective Monday, April 11, COVID-19-positive employees working on the Medical Campus should not come to work for 10 days as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Non-health-care workers may work remotely if able. Employees who tested positive prior to April 11 will follow the previously required seven-day restriction.
You must be cleared by Occupational Health (occupationalhealth@wustl.edu) before returning to work. You must be fever free without medication for 24 hours, and your symptoms must be improving.
